Tasting Notes-Veronese Selection

Valpolicella-tValpolicella DOC: Soft, sumptuous wine with flavors of berries, cherries, almonds and raisins, enhanced with subtle oak, vanilla, and spice complexity from aging in new oak casks.

 

Soave-tSoave DOC: Soft floral bouquet and clean pear and lemon flavors with an almond aftertaste and a crisp, balanced finish.

 

 

Bardolino-tBardolino DOC: With hints of black cherry on the nose, this wine is soft and fruit-forward with black-fruit flavors followed by a bright and fresh finish. Best when served slightly chilled.

 

pinot-Grigio-delle-Venezie-tPinot Grigio delle Venezie IGT: Well balanced with a crisp acidity and a lively taste. Hints of lemon, lime, peach and melon make this light, dry wine inifintiely satisfying.

 

 

Chianti-tChianti DOCG: This medium-bodied red is well-balanced and fruit-forward with an intense violet aroma and a fresh, slightly spicy taste of black cherry, plum, and raspberry.

 

 

Sangiovese-di-Romagna-tSangiovese di Romagna DOC: Aromas of violets, spices, cherries, raspberries, and plums. This wine is medium-bodied and well-balanced with supple tannins, delivering black-fruit flavors and a clean finish.

 

 

Pinot-Noir-Provincia-di-Pavia-tPinot Noir Provincia di Pavia IGT: With aromas of wild cherries, black currants, dried spring flowers, and a touch of licorice, this wine is well-balanced and offers fresh fruit flavors with black-cherry nuances.

 

Cabernet-Sauvignon-delle-Venezie-tCabernet Sauvignon delle Venezie IGT: Aromas of black fruit, vanilla, and clove, this wine is well-balanced with silky pepper and black-currant finish.

 

 

Chardonnay-delle-Venezie-tChardonnay delle Venezie IGT: A complex, stylish wine with flavors of light citrus, juicy pear, pineapple, and a hint of vanilla. This refreshing medium-bodied dry wine has a lingering finish.

 

Merlot-tMerlot: A full bouquet of cranberries, cherries, plums and raspberries, this wine has an appealing, bright black-cherry character enhanced by hints of licorice, vanilla, and clove derived from the wood aging. It is medium-bodied, round on the palate, and has a pleasant finish.
